Terra Aqua Gabions and Reno Mattresses are manufactured from heavy gauge, double twist hexagonal mesh that provides flexibility and insures that it won’t unravel. Heavy gauge frame wire adds strength. Factory installed partitions prevent shifting of the fill.
 

Gabion structures can be subject to various stresses and they must be able to settle, twist and conform to channel and foundation shifts and changes. At the same time, gabions must have sufficient strength to contain the weight of the rocks with which they are filled and of additional filled gabions that may be placed upon them, as well as to resist the impact force of high velocity currents and soil pressure.
